That speed test tonight looks a lot better. I wonder if the SVLAN change was that 2am re-sync, and just the usual BT messaging to Xilo didn't get out until later. Let's see how things are tomorrow.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - AAISP Home::1 80/20. Sync 59997/15142kbps @ 600m. - BQM

Well according to Matt the change won't happen till Monday at the earliest so don't think it was a change to SVLAN. Friday night is not too bad usually for speed because I think quite a lot of the usual net users are in the pub smile Tomorrow is another day and I think we'll be back to erratic speeds in the evening. I'll post tomorrow evenings graph and we'll see what it looks like.

Have now done another test image at

http://www.petremembrance.co.uk/test_1st_nov_20.49.jpg

The BQM looks very steady but the speed test isn't so hot, although it gives "Your test shows a variable stream result" warning. The WANs been up for nearly 62hrs without dropping but I'm not holding my breath for that to remain like that. Hopefully sometime this week UNO will have good news for me from BT and my connection and speed problems will be sorted. Wish I could believe that frown
Thanks for all the advice you've given me and I'll let you know what happens with the changeover.
