Well back in 2011 cabinet 66 was down as FTTP same as ours, however cabinet 66 wasn't down to be done in phase 1, so if you have no hardware up your pole (that's if you have poles in your area) then you might get put on FTTC instead, I think all that was partly done and that was part of the first phase of the commercial projects will still be completed as it was.
BT and Openreach still say we are down as the Commercial FTTP Project and are still down to be done, which is good news.
At the start of November our local MP was told that our FTTP install was nearing completion and gave us a projected date of end of November, and then said that this is welcoming news, sadly this never happened and our local MP was all on top of this due to I got another letter from him on 26th November with another update from BT saying that they are looking into this and would get back to him in a few days, I will be sending him an email for an update on Monday.
I just don't really know what the hold up is, I know its not our end due to we have all the hardware in the chambers and up the poles, hell we even their fibre engineers come down throughout July to replace all the fibre cables that daisy chain between all the Fibre DP hardware and they have also been spliced too.
One of the engineers even told me that he was confused that they had to redo all that work that they originally did back end of 2011.
I was even tempted of contacting people high up in BT for info.
I already have contact details for
Tim O'Sullivan, Director of Public Affairs and
Clova Fyfe, Head of Parliamentary Affairs but I am guessing that they probably won't talk to me

.
I think the issue your side of the A406 is that your area is covered by several cabinets all or mostly FTTP, granted cabinets 32 and 50 was originally either not viable or not part of the first phase rollout, however they are being done with the Commercial FTTC Project (LEP)
Cabinet 32 is down as to be ready in 5 months and cabinet 50 is down to be ready in 12 months, I think these dates are just generic place holder dates.
BTW have you tried emailing Openreach, I know I have sent you a couple of PM's back in July, but maybe Openreach could say what's happening.
I know BT are still installing fibre in your and our area due to I see the odd BT work on roadowrks and I now and then see work like "
1 ,Build 1 precast chamber in 915mm x 445mm x 965mm deep in Footway,Install 12m of 1 way poly duct in Footway,Install 3m of 1 way poly duct in Verge,Install 5m of 1 way poly duct in Carriageway" and that road is all FTTP with some homes without fibre.
What about Virgin Media, is that down your road?
I know we will never ever be able to get that due to being listed as a conservation area, so no lovely fibre cabinets down our road.
I am just waiting to hear back from our local MP, so hopefully its good news this time.
So you might be lucky.
