True, but when I was using it there was never any 5GHz detected.

I used to use InSSIDer on my laptop but now I use Wifi Analyser on my phone. It's free and it's very good.

No doubt "other wfi analyser apps are available" as the BBC might say.

I just want to confirm that BT do not intentionally slow you down for over downloading or reduce throughput due to congestion deliberately.

What may happen is if lots of users are downloading in your area, the throughput may drop slightly. So don't worry smile

I think today was the last day of the ten day training period.

Surprised nobody else has commented - no such thing. Not for FFTC. Not even a little bit smile

I got bored, as many will probably believe their ISP and the BT Wholesale estimator than me.

It did occur to me a bit ago that the BTW DLM bodge to generate an IP Profile for FTTx might have left in place the recording of the lowest sync in the first 10 days, giving an MSR and FTR. Bonkers!

Cock-up and BT Wholesale themselves misunderstanding their own system becomes compounded. No doubt they will still be saying it when the whole country finally becomes FTTP or equivalent.

They probably say it now for FTTP connections.
