Hmm only 482 metres from it .... That's a rather precise measurement. Have you found the PCP?

What is the speed range you're given when you pop your telephone number into the BT Wholesale availabliliy checker.
I'm guessing if 30 is the maximum as you outlined in your original post your minimum will be between 15 and 20. Therefore you're well in the range of expect speeds and you're wasting your time calling Sky. They'll tell you the exact same thing.

I calculated I'm around 650 metres so I think I should still be getting higher than 24mbps, I'll give sky a ring I think I doubt if Sky will want to talk to you about Infinity 2. That's a BT Consumer product.

Also is the speed from the dslchecker as in FTTC Range A (Clean) 33.2 the max speed I can ever get with the cabinet im at? can I not get anymore if i went to infinity 2 for example.
Based on your estimated connection speed - which will be the same whichever FTTC ISP you choose - you should opt for a 40MB/Infinity 1 speed service.
If your connection speed, in practice, turns out to be higher than this, you can upgrade to either a 55/10 or 80/20 service if you decide its then worth it..

Is any ISP offering 55/10 yet?
