Error Packets showing up

Just gone live today with Fibre, having not had broadband for a number of years on the phone line.

Have a TP-Link VC900 router and the stats it is giving me are:


DSL Modulation Type: VDSL2
Annex Type: Annex A/L/M

Upstream / Downstream

Current Rate: 18590kbps / 44716kbps
Max Rate: 18590kbps / 45412kbps
SNR Margin: 6.3 / 6.1
Line Attenuation(db): 0 / 20.4
Errors(pkts) 44 / 4217

The line has been in sync for about 90 minutes, currently downloading a 7gb file which is obviously sending the error packets up quicker than prior to the download.

Can I have some thoughts on what these mean and if the connection is good or if I have some problems I need to iron out somewhere.

Errors can and do happen. What's important is whether or not they're corrected.

Are they causing any issues with your download speed? If not I wouldn't be concerned.

Does not seem to be a problem, but it is now over 61000, so about 55000 added in the past hour and just normal internet usage taking place.

Just a couple of minutes after posting this, the connection dropped and reconnected reseting the errors to 0.
