No, using just the postcode search doesn't return the exchange or cabinet information if more than one supports the area.
Our area is split over two cabinets and when I enter my postcode in using BT Wholesale checker it just lists ADSL speeds and only the postcode shown >> here <<

I believed it returns the first (unsorted) cabinet in the database for the postcode when there are multiple ones. (From the days of the old leaked Excel spreadsheets which I had copies of).

Which in your case may be a non-FTTC one.

Though it may have been changed. Your screenshot does suggest it has.

It's still worth finding out what method he is using .

Well no post codes in my area have FTTC, they have FTTP
Like you already know we have all the FTTP hardware since 2011 - 2012 but their system seems to think two sets of hardware are required.
Sill if you ask me, but "should" hopefully be resolved the 27th July.

Possibly, the BT Wholesale checker has changed several times over the last year or so, you can no longer do bulk checks (i.e. 25K addresses ) that I use to do, which now results in a blocked IP for X Time.

How are you discovering that you are on PCP 12 please? Phone number, address or pure postcode into which checker?

What is "Sky Max" in your sig - is it LLU or via BT Wholesale?

Its Sky's unlimted (LLU) service. Got the cab number from the Bt wholesale checker using my phone number.

You may think this is a very silly question, but it isn't. Have you had your Sky LLU for many years, predating when they started to insist that your line was also LLU? Who do you pay line rental to?

I ask because the BT Wholesale checker (unless this part of it has also changed recently) does not recognise Sky LLU phone numbers.

The whole setup seems odd to me, with cab 28 being so much closer to you.

What does your address return in the BT Wholesale checker?

Cab 28 is small and simply surrounded by postcodes on cabinet 12 - one of those oddities of how areas grow historically

Bear in mind the OP is on Sky LLU but also has his number recognised by the BTW checker. Which, unless it has changed very recently, doesn't recognise LLU phone numbers.

There are postcodes that are shared on both cabinets 12 and 28, I saw some earlier (i.e. down Church Ln) when I did some quick checks.
