Re: Migrating off MPF

[re: RobertoS] [link to this post]

Actually, I first downgraded to ADSL2+ with Pulse8, as FTTC did not cure my problems which are still ongoing. I then moved all to Uno ADSL2+ which ran well in the hope of upgrading to their resold TTB LLU FTTC (promised soon Jan 2015). As folks know, it still has not arrived and as I needed FTTC at this stage for 4K TV, I moved my BB and line away to Aquiss, who insisted there was not a single thread peak time problem and said they could do nothing chasing the line fault which was a year old by then. So I moved my BB to AAISP as a last resort to sort my fault and my lane and calls back to Pulse8 again, making my setup now the same as RobertoS. Three or four months in and Openreach are still ignoring AAISP daily demands for a fix - Long story long!

Yes, I had to downgrade to ADSL2+ LLU before moving to Uno, then upgrade to TTB LLU fTTC when it arrived, which it didn't.

Yet if you are one of us, that the Uno checker says it cannot supply your number, you get told manual orders cannot be done. All of us have had a little justified moan in the past, so takes little working out that we are actively blocked.
