If your sync speed is 34.39 how come your downloads are showing 55-56?

That's the values before switching from the phone jack upstairs to the Master's Test Socket

So it seems my internal wiring is rubbish is that the right conclusion?

Don't understand why the speeds on Infinity1 from the upstairs room was so high UNLESS it was the BT HomeHub6 ?

And what modem is it now?

Maybe a change of hardware to something that is not so good for your line is partly to explain

Those figures were from the Technicolor TG588v v2 which from more recent tests using the test socket was just behind the Archer VR600

Maybe if I could set up the homehub6 that might be even better unless it has some kind of encryption??

On Infinity 1 I'd get between 47 and 49 down and between 8.5 and 9.2 up

I am a bit confused.
So are you getting better speeds from the master socket than you did where you had it before?

If so, it could be bad internal wiring, or a bad filter face plate.
My guesses bad internal wiring.

I think the 34.39Mbps was when it was connected before and the 55-56Mbps was at the master socket using a micro filter in the test socket.
