New Chamber being built

Morning all,

Recently spotted a fair bit of work going on around a FTTC cabinet nearby.

According to the Roadworks site, its a rather large concrete chamber being constructed in the pathway.

"Build 1 concrete chamber 2315mm x 737mm x 1565mm deep in Footway"

"Works Ref BC005WP00100500223454700"

Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Unfortunately it's not my cabinet but was just wondering if its a chamber being built for the area rather than specific addresses.

Might jump be extra space needed for some loop expansion due to more premises nearby or for further expansion of the fibre network to more cabinets or FTTP further down the road

Had a similar thing a few months ago which, after further series of Highways notifications, resulted in a new PCP appearing on the site. Thankfully, after multiple BB disconnections (44 in 10 days) and a massive drop in my BB speed, the transfer of 600 phone lines to the new PCP was completed. I eventually found out was going on by walking past the site and having a chat with the guys doing the work.
