Tbh, I can't see much wrong there, 0 errors on the downstream and normal amounts of errors on the upstream. Whatever caused DLM to intervene was harsh but brief. Let's hope DLM removes the banding. If it doesn't within a month, then try and book a broadband boost engineer.

I think it's a stuck DLM profile or something. I've had the same BRAS IP profile rate for the past 2 years now. I've only bothered looking into the issue now as I had free time, but I want to go back to the speeds I used to have! Do I just ask my ISP to reset the DLM?

It's a tough one. I would say yes, but is there a fault there? No. So, I'd suggest, seen as you've been very patient (a lot more than myself), to go for it! But, don't expect it to go perfectly... Good luck!

Between 2013 and 2017 I lost 34Mb of attainable with no issues and now 43Mb. Crosstalk can have a huge impact. You haven't fared too badly if that's all you have lost.

I'm not sure you are banded either. I am definitely banded on one line, at 55Mb with lots of SNR margin to spare. It seems odd to me for there to be banding at 55Mb and 54Mb.

Because the modem connects at the same downstream rate!

I only see a single sync period - the line had been up for over 4 days when the second stats sample was provided, no intermediate resync.

Your sync speed has been capped to raise the snrm due to line problems. Since BT lost the Assia case their implementation of DLM has become more reluctant to remove banding.

Wouldn't have this problem if we killed off DLM once & for all... (Hopefully someone else will find an infringing patent and try again wink )
