Michael

Each dot represents a postcode with the chosen layer available. So change the filter that is set when you open the link to 'Openreach native FTTP' and you will see black dots that each represent a postcode with FTTP.

Different levels give different speeds or types of service so Openreach VDSL/FTTP give red / amber / green dots for under 4Mb , 4-24Mb and over 24Mb.

Virgin are purple so you can have different layers all visible at the same time , However the dots will overlay on each other where it applies to more than one layer.

AS the poster says there are a couple of FTTP dots in Ashington centre the rest is FTTC, with no sub 2MB and only 1 sub 10Mb.

You need to feedback any errors to Andrew who can check and correct the layers if you are correct.

If you know the postcodes list them to him in an e-mail with what you think the errors are. ( I think you are correct on the Lack of Virgin in Greasby in Wirral!)

I've just checked the BT Wholesale Checker for some of those streets that are said to have Openreach Native FTTP i.e WBC FTTP and that do indeed come back saying WBC FTTP is available to those properties.

So in that case I think it is correct in showing Openreach WBC FTTP is available.

Also Andrew has stated at the bottom of the site in one of the drop down tabs how to raise corrections.

Oh I'm definitely correct on both counts (you can probably work out how I know this), there should be a feedback button on the map itself though. If someone feeds something back to Andrew it's very easy for him to check using the Virgin Media coverage checker or the BT Wholesale checker.
