On your external visit, will they be installing the FTTP Customer Splice Point (CSP) on the outside of your property? I ask this because I believe Openreach are now using Connectorised Fibre links for FTTP/oD orders thereby reducing splicing, however I'm not sure sure if they are still installing CSPs or perhaps they are slowly phasing them out. Would be good to know either way smile

I'll post photos.

If anyone has any questions they'd like me to ask the engineer, feel free to post them and I'll do my best to get an answer.

It all depends on what FTTP Hardware is currently there, it could still be using the old FibreDP and Manifold which like you said would requires a CSP.

A green box on a pole: picture

About 3 poles along then the line goes down into the ground then about 100m through a trench that the current copper line goes through to get to us.

Just realised you used my image, I was like whoa that loaded quick LOL.

How far up the pole is the green box and is there a black bottle at the top?
I cannot remember if the FibreDP is in that green box or the manifold.

Yep, looks like there is a Fibre Manifold at the top.

Inside a manifold so BFT can be seen, these run to the CSP's Baby mentions (images 94 to 99) In a non connectorised set up.
