Kind of, it's quite a rural area so not overly surprised of address mix ups. I'm going to check with the current occupant to see which post code the current service is installed with - but I assume there's no technical reason the order can't be put on the wrong post code?I live in London and my place was turned into 3 flats, the net result is there are now 4+ addresses all "similar" to my correct one but none of them perfect. I just went through the BT checker and only one of them gave me a speed estimate, the rest gave me an error that speeds could not be predicted. I just placed the order on the one that seemed to work and bobs your uncle it's going.
FYI my actual address is 105C Uxbridge Road,
The BT Address checker has:
Top Floor Flat, 105, Uxbridge Road,
Flat 3, 105, Uxbridge Road,
Top Fl Flat, 105, Uxbridge Road,
105B-C, Uxbridge Road
All of which could be my flat, assuming ground floor is flat 1 - I would be flat 3. I am top floor. B-C is a bit confusing as that is downstairs and my flat mangled into one... lol
The one that works is "Top Fl Flat." I just roll with it.
