Not Where, but When?.

Hi all, Our part of the estate are on EO lines, but OR were around the estate about 18 months ago feeding thick cables in some of the pavement access points and when I asked one of the workmen at the time he said it was for FTTP. Since that time no more activity from OR except it now says on the "When will I get fibre" web page "In Scope". Then last week some fibre contractors guys (CASS) showed up feeding thin black cables in the access points, and when asked they confirmed it was all for FTTP, but did not know when it will go live. So can anyone say roughly how long to go live, and when it does, who lets you know, is it your ISP (I have Sky) or OR. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well it won't be them for sure, Sky don't offer service over Openreach FTTP.

Thanks for the info. So does it means I will have to dump "SKY BB" if I want FTTP?. Is there any other ISP's that offer FTTP apart from BT. Also has anybody got any info regarding my original post.

Zen and AAISP offer FTTP too but BT are the cheapest option.
