I thought the cancellation is now 14 days - that period might not be long enough to see how bad/congested your local cabinet is.

ISP's:
Zen: Around 6mb down - .8mb up
JohnLewis BB: TBA
Stechford (CMSTE) Cab 50 - Virgin rates variable so not bothering with them.....

2cm thick black tube with yellow stripe? That's fibre sub duct not the fibre itself.

yes the cancellation is 14 days cooling off period from the first day of your order submit, not the first day of activation date.

That was it. Curious as to what they were using it for, all our cabs are lit and have been for years.

In reply to a post by MrSaffron:
Closest one third....mmm

The distribution of premises per cabinet is a LONG way from uniform.

I agree. My figures stem from the median distribution, but as you know actual distribution per cabinet, you can make much better guesses.

When I look at how your "guessed" cabinets turn out for 28k and 38k, I can see, for example, that streets where a lot of older houses have been converted to flats get included, but newer "executive" detached houses don't. It just boils down to population density.

And the guesses include my cabinet, so I'll be watching closely wink

38k pods installed over 3.5 years: 900 pods per month.

10m premises passed by 38k pods: 263 lines within range per pod. If that is "almost everyone" on these cabinets, then it means G.Fast might apply better to "medium" PCPs rather than the very largest.
