Could have been some copper rearrangement done.

Most likely this.

My EO Line was eventually moved to an existing fibre cabinet (Even showed 'Exploring Solutions' on the OR checker, as if it wasn't to be done).

Only seems to happen with BDUK funding, and again, seems to happen randomly without warning. Doesn't always necessarily need new cabinets built.

I found cabinet 7 using UK Telecoms Tariff - codelook. It's slightly odd because that cab has been there for some time and is as far the opposite side of the exchange as is my house so, I'm not surprised when TalkTalk promise only up to 45MB/s on a 76 MB/s contract.

In reply to a post by DavidA23:
OK, that tells me I'm connected to Cabinet 7.
All I need to do now is find where it's located.

Interesting. So in the past the checker has shown that you were exchange only? Your order should go through then. Seems youve been moved to cabinet 7, only really possible if your line went past that cabinet originally anyway. Did it?

Codelook cab location isnt really accurate.

It just gives a centre of all the postcodes it serves.

Yes, agreed. This is more accurate, however it has limited coverage: https://windows.mouselike.org/be/index.asp?DoAction=...

Mouselike doesn't show cab locations but having visited various websites it seems that it's cab 7 or p7 which I know the location of. Whichever, I guess towards the end of the month when it goes live I'll see how it performs

Cabinet 7 went live in 2015 but think it may have been a cabinet put in to serve some EO bundles back then, and subsequent to that some network rearrangement has got others onto it.

It does show cab locations?! If your postcode is connected to a cabinet, and providing Mouselike has the coverage for that cabinet, it will show you where it is within around 100 meters.
