Which VDSL faceplate?

Looking at replacing my NTE2005 'ADSL V1.0' faceplate with a VDSL faceplate prior to self-install of Sky Fibre next week.

Which one would be best. I'm looking at some on Amazon. These are the two I've found and want some advice.

Any differences between the two that I need to look out for?

Are they a worthwhile upgrade over my old ADSL v1.0 faceplate?

I would go with an OpenReach MK3

I would need the faceplate (With RJ45 connector) and also the telephone connector part too right?

If you have a standard NTE5A Master socket then you will only need the MK3 SSFP, providing you haven't thrown away the lower faceplate which you removed to fit the ADSL SSFP.

Was already like that when moved into the house so no don't have the lower faceplate anymore.

Would this work?

Of course I'd just use the lower faceplate and MK3 SSFP,

The parts should just plug in and no need to play with the back box part, which as a consumer you are not meant to fiddle with anyway.

Will order one of those then.

Is there extension wiring connected on the rear of the current SSFP ? If so, you�ll need a kroning tool to transfer those from the old to the new front plate.

There is yes and ordered one alongside the MK3 SSFP (And front lower faceplate), thanks for the heads up anyway
