You could try the master socket 5C and MK4 face plate.
That's a ridiculous suggestion!
Agreed, the amount of times a friends girlfriend round the corner from me has knocked off the faceplate(s) of an NTE5C Master socket with the hoover when cleaning.
I say stay with the NTE5a and get a MK3 xDSL Filter faceplate.

Next time go round there armed with some supa glue LOL

I told my mate to stick a dining chair in front of it when she gets the hoover out LOL
I have only needed to go round there 3 times when they saw some hanging off wires.
But I think she is more careful when she hoovers in that area

Good thing that she didn't bump the hover into it too hard - the components in the NTE5C itself are not soldered into position (just a press fit) and could be dislodged, that might result in a very expensive repair.

True, I know she has hit it hard a few times due to you can see dents in the plastic and also colour scurf marks from the hoover on the socket LOL
Well she can be forgiven, even a light tug on either the phone or dsl cables can sometimes cause the faceplate to come adrift
I bet the NTE5C will be redesigned soon...
Yeah, hope so.
Their one you just knock one side and it pops off, I ended up using white duct tape round the edge, good luck the engineer that needs to get in there LOL.
