200-300m is going to be tricky for the new connectorised FTTP kit , the pre made kits for OH are 160m long...... you can join them, but not ideal ...

There will be ways and means .

Your photo is just of a standard JF4, could be housing a variety of things.

I love how one's brain completely misjudges distance, using google as a guide, the dp is 100m to my nearest pole (google is saying 95m) with one other pole inbetween.. so as long that dp is served i should be fine. its the others further down the road, where its greater than 160m assuming they are on the same dp.

Thanks for the explaination of the jf4... average person who knows some stuff wouldn't have known that..

As a very vague rule of thumb, often around 50m between poles if on a continuous run.
