Time from FTTP rollout to availability

[link to this post]

BT Openreach have started installing fibre to the local telegraph poles this week.

Does anyone know approximate timescales until orders can be placed?

Found one old thread that said ~9 months, but that was from 2016. I guess / hope the FTTP rollout is a more streamlined, faster process now.

Obviously there's more "behind-the-scenes" work to be done at the exchange / local cabinets. Would this work be done before / after pulling fibre to the poles?

Take your pick from a few weeks to a year or more

From our experience, about 6 months from green boxes on poles appearing to availability on checker.
