Re: New build - FTTC not available, how long for database?

Incorrect, if your connected to a FTTC enabled cabinet (but too far to receive any uplift in speed from FTTC) then FTTPoD will still show. To the OP - Enjoy the FTTC at the new house.

Is there any chance you could share the steps you took or ask the other user if they would be willing to help me as I have the same issue with my fibre connection. Thanks

This is what I did when I moved to a new build.

I assume your new address is already on the Openreach database. Not necessary but useful to do is make sure your new address on the Royal Mail Postcode and Address File (PAF), I'm with Sky and for some reason they wanted a valid postcode for the new address that they could get from a PAF search, it may have been because I was using their home move service. This can be done online and takes about 3 weeks for the address to be added.

I ordered ADSL with the phone just to get online as I work from home and a couple of days after the phone went active my address was showing fibre available so I upgraded to fibre.
