Thats my number stats not its been setup. Getting 40mb sync (very low compared to what I was predicted). Using an unlocked HG612 modem and my ASUS router. Heres my connection details from the GUI:

Are you plugged in the master socket, with no extension wiring connected ?

Thats a pants sync rate for a shortish D side, and those errors shouldnt be there either.

Yep its all underground lines here no poles. Straight into new master socket no ext anywhere on the property and cabinet is not that far away really.

Do not use the GUI of the HG612 to obtain the circuit's error statistics, it displays incorrect values.

xdslcmd info --stats

The above command, via the CLI, will show the correct data.

100% Linux and, previously, Unix.

Im out at the moment but just called the landline and went to voicemail and heard no cracking on the line and sounds clear. Above escalated with Plusnet but with that attenuation what is the line distance to the cabinet potentially?

Your test for line noise is not a valid one, you need to be listening with a good corded phone from the property.

Came on after a day out on Saturday evening and dsl light off. Spoke with Plusnet who escalated for fault on Sunday but obviously thinking not gonna be working till Tuesday onwards. Sorting house out today and dsl light went solid again for about 5 mins. Manage to connect to the hacked Openreach on lan1. Got these stats but upload has gone down down massively. Could that be a sign of moisture on the line somewhere?

My guess, one leg dis somewhere.

Did Plusnet try and make an appointment for Openreach to visit ?

As was already pointed out the Web Interface of the HG612 is very buggy and mixes up some figures.

Telnet in and issue the command xdslcmd info --stats or run DSLStats on Windows, Linux or a Raspberry Pi.
