My cabinet was recently renewed and had a G.fast pod fitted. Though I have had news that it may not be enabled and ready for orders until next year. 
My D side is about the same length as yours, though I have a feeling that there is "silver copper" in mine somewhere...

Don't get your hopes up,G Fast pod fitted July - August last year here,& still not live yet, so annoying.

Waiting is always the worst part. I'm not getting g.fast but fttp -watching all the ducting work on roadworks.org is just as painful!
