AFAIK with BT Retail you are forced to take out line rental with any FTTP service they sell.

With Zen, they give you the option of a FTTP service without line rental but its only £2 p/m less than one with line rental. For such a small amount I would rather keep a copper/FVA line active...

Thank you for the reply. In some ways it surprises me that BT don't have a pricing structure that more favours the demise of the copper network.

That would require FTTP to be cheaper and that would be a difficult one to do in the current regulatory environment, in fact Ofcom rules mean FTTP n a location where VDSL2 is available at superfast speeds is more expensive by £5/m
