My one show's old ADSL speed and VDSL speed. Also states 'FTTP is not available.' Even though the 'CBT' is on my telephone pole.

Birmingham Fibre First Program: FTTP (CBT) installed on poles.

The CBT being present in no way guarantees that the full fibre run back to the aggregation node is present lit and commissioned

I only had FTTP installed a couple of weeks ago, as a 1 stage, connectorised, but with the new changes, my line is now showing 2 stage.

Also I see the extra: ONT exists with active service. A spare port is available. A new ONT may be ordered.

I only have the one port ONT installed, what does the spare port available actually mean?

Using my neighbours' BT phone number i can see in the "premise environment" section that she's not using an NTE faceplate apparently. smile
I feel a little dirty now. frown

Apparently I don't have an NTE either, but I do, two of them!

Now let me think who could use all this information...

Broadband providers but worse as its public the scammers could use it to figure out what services you likely have and tailor phishing emails/calls accordingly

Ah so that section is nonsense then.
For her line it sates "Last Test Date 08-11-2018".

For the observed speeds section is sates "Observed Date 2018-10-17" so guess that was me?

*Edit, RE:
so guess that was me?
Never mind, i've seen that it was October now.

Indeed MrSaffron, plenty of genuinely dirty people out there.
Here's hoping that section never does actually work.

I checked my Mum's phone number and it has the Observed Speed as 80000/20000 on 4th Oct 2018 but she has only had a 40000/10000 service since fibre because available in her area. I assume this is not the "observed" speed based on the type or product on the line but is "observed" by something else.
