I had a 2 stage install, where visit 1 was supposed to be fibre blown to the external CSP and visit 2 was internal wiring and installation of ONT. However when the Engineer came to blow the fibre on his first visit, i politely asked him to also do the internal wiring & fit the ONT at the same time. He was happy to oblige but he did make it clear that the service wouldn't be going live anytime soon. Hence why there was a gap of 3-4 weeks between having the ONT fitted and circuit going live.
