Cerberus Broadband Availability Report

[link to this post]

Does anyone know if it's possible that Cerberus could know about a FTTC cabinet going live before the Openreach DSL checker reports it as being available?

Just receieved the following, although cabinet 4 on Conisbrough exchange shows as no FTTC.

Technology Availability Max Est. Down Mbps Max Est. Up Mbps
ADSL2+ Available to Order __________ 8 / 1
FTTC Available to Order __________ 36 / 7
G.Fast Not Available ______________ n/a n/a
FTTP Not Available ______________ n/a n/a
FTTP on Demand Not Available _____ 300 / 30

Cheers guys

Showing as live by 31st March 2019 and some postcodes further out from cab 4 look like they are going onto a new cabinet number 45 from a minute of quick looking

Thanks for checking. I wonder if Openreach have realised their mistake as cabinet 4 was put in place to intercept / "CURE" the exchange lines (like mine was) on route to the exchange. However, non of these exchange line properties are anywhere near this cabinet with mine being about 1km and some of the others being closer to 2km. I wonder if cabinet 45 is for the 2km long lines from Edlington. The cabinet has been in situ for over 1 year with the date getting pushed back every 3 months frown

Just been in contact with Openreach however they are not being very helpful (or simply don't know). I have asked them which postcodes are covered for Cabinet 45 but they seem to think lines are being moved to cabinet 4 and not out.

Do you happen to have a list of postcodes that are being moved by any chance?

Thank you smile
