I have spoken to my housing landlord about FTTPoD a long while last year and they say yes I can have it if I want it as my contract agreement is long term stay at my council housing as long I pay the rent myself.

Is there a correlation between your FTTC attenuation and possible G.FAST speed?
Don't think my cab will ever get done, although i'm in a G.FAST area.

That still could be quite the risk with FTTP then as those terms are still 12 months from OR right now. Could end up quite costly if you're a month in and have the move, potentially to somewhere that has not got it.

Do you know if Openreach have any plans for FTTP services on 30 day min terms?

Highly doubtful, unless they massively increased the up-front install fee.
The existing £92+VAT (which is usually absorbed by the service provider) surely doesn't cover the cost of sending out an engineer to drill through your walls and install the fibre and ONT.

Nothing i've seen.
It could be a while off, similar to what happened with VDSL, that was many years longer than the period seen with ADSL engineer and self-install.

Updated: I have spoken to Openreach via email and the good news that my cabinet 8 with g.fast will go live by next 8-12 weeks as they just awaiting to do five more cabinets in my area Cabinet 9, 7, 13, 1 and 6 but also saying FTTP is only available nuplace new houses in my area, Dawley, St.Georges and Madeley.
But the bad news is: PN will not offer g.fast service for the time being. So, I won't bother then.

I'm grateful you didn't namedrop some random person who works for Openreach and has never heard of you in your alleged communication this time, as I'm sure a random person within Openreach is.
