Difference between Community Fibre and Hyperoptics

[link to this post]

I've got a leaflet through my door the other day and says Community Fibre is going to be available in my flat soon, though I didn't see any work had been carried out, what I have seen is Hyperoptic is laying cable around. Are they the same thing? Who's better? Checking my post code Community Fibre now allows pre order, Hyperoptic still at a pending state. Thanks

Different companies

CommunityFibre will install a fibre into the flat
Hyperoptic will install fibre into the building and then run Ethernet cable over a short distance into your flat

Both provide a choice of speeds with maximum speeds currently at Gigabit with different price points

Thanks, that's interesting, because I didn't see any community fibre vans outside, I thought they'd partner Hyperoptics.

And where I live, I am surprised that there will be 2 FTTH services.

Any recommendations between the 2? Thanks,
