However, whether the OP *takes* the Trooli service or not won't make a difference to whether Openreach makes their FTTP service available there or not. In other words, they won't skip individual houses just because they have active Trooli connections (even if they could tell).
Indeed, but Openreach may not think it economic to provide FTTP in an area where there is another FTTP operator. I have Gigaclear not far from the proposed Trooli network. My landline is connected to the Seal exchange which is one of the exchanges in the list announced last October or so. The Openreach website postcode checker says I shoould get their FTTP and I even have an email from them saying that I would get FTTP in December 2019. In practice all the FTTP from the Seal exchange appears to be north of the A25. There is none south of the A25 which is where the Gigaclear network is. Of course this may change in the future!
