Very interesting especially the colour code sequences, loosely reminds me of copper (e.g. blue, orange, green, brown, slate paired with white, red, black, yellow. Appreciate no pairing with fibre.)

How the hell does that send ultra fast internet to our homes over a long distance when it looks only as thick as a sheet of paper. 
In a data centre I've seen multi core fibre arrive in a rack and then into a splice tray, feeding 10 or more connector (SC) which we then connected to the storage HBA's in the servers.
Fibre is cool.

Shine a torch down one end, look at the other end but keep the fibre away from you eyes !.
