Finally FTTP available

[link to this post]

Hi,

I got involved in a CFP just before Christmas and there has been a flurry of activity over the last few months with Openreach after I got the residents to pledge vouchers for the better broadband and hey presto we have finally got there! NO more unstable lines, disconnections and poor speeds.

WBC FTTP Upto 1000 Upto 220 -- Available 1 Stage

Cant wait for the installation smile

Thats brilliant, a lot of CFP's fail due to various reasons along the way so yours going all the way through to fttp being available is great. Well done to all those involved.

Good work!

By the way, I think you have the wrong speedtest link in your signature, it gives me a 404. Will be nice to see before and after smile

Congrats, getting a CFP to fruition is a great and hard thing to do because simply you have to stump up the money and many fall by the wayside.

Enjoy your speed

its hard work . but the more work you do in advance of starting the better chance of fruition you will have

I agree doing lots of prep work beforehand helps but what's important to you or I may not be important to your neighbours and like minded neighbours are required to contribute and help carry it over the line.

Since being with BT the last 12 months speeds have been stable around 16 down and 1 up with a ping around 30ms

Looking forward to 900 down and 110 up with a lower ping and lets hope the stuck 50 up issue will not be a factor!
