Totally agree. This started in December 2019 and has been busy getting the residents to sign up.

There are some that are just not interested but use the internet so I don't quite understand if there is a £1500 voucher available at no cost to them other than taking out a full fibre connection why they wouldn't!

Openreach have been brilliant in their support and I can't thank them enough. They have kept me updated through the whole process and helped support with leaflet drops etc.

Our village uses NextDoor platform and I would recommend this for keeping residents updated regarding progress rather than using some of the other more common social media platforms as not everyone wants to use the others.

I found the secret to be calling round doors explaining the process and willing to answer questions residents have frequently.

The biggest selling point was the fact our speeds here weren't the worst but not the best and why pay the same as someone who can receive the full speed
