Re: FTTC Cabinet damaged, how long to repair/replace?

Sounds promising, fingers crossed.

I must admit, I had a complete loss of landline in locked-down April, and once I managed to get TalkTalk to actually refer it through for repair, Openreach were superb and fixed it within two days. It did take 4 weeks going round in circles to get TT to that point though.

Further update.
My voice and internet were off all yesterday since midday and have only just come back on.

I am still only getting ADSL speeds (5 down 1 up), but at least I have a connection until the fibre cabinet is up and running.

This morning I could see they were doing things in a duct near to the PCP which is across the road from the fibre cab. Maybe the cabling between the PCP and the fibre cab was damaged and needs replacing.

Anyway, Openreach seem to be on the case and things are definitely happening.
