CommunityFIbre

[link to this post]

I've recently had a letter from CommunityFibre saying

"Great news! London's fastest 100% full fibre broadband is coming to your neighbourhood!

Community Fibre is bringing 100% full fibre broadband to your area. This means you and your neighbours will soon have access to speeds of up to 1 Gbps."

It also says "In the next 7-14 days, work will begin on your road to install all the main cables and equipment required for you to have access to 100% full fibre broadband, if you choose to."

I was surprised to see this as i though CommunityFibre were only installing/available in apartment buildings and flats. From the looks of this they're going to start digging up roads and bring true fibre to normal houses.

Im in NW London btw.

Our maps have seen them building in various streets across London and seems to be fairly fast to roll-out too.

I think you may have accidentally got that confused with Hyperoptic, just wanted to make sense of that.

You know when something isn't known to work well but it actually works for you quite well? It's a common occurrence for me. Just need to reach for that fibre cable.

Yeah they've been rolling it out to disparate council houses in Hammersmith & Fulham too, but still omitting privately owned houses...

They seem to be rolling out to privately owned houses in NW London.
