BT Database Problem

10 years or so ago we renumbered are house after the demolition of the building next door. Our telephone provider were informed as was everyone else. But it seems that we have an error or the BT database www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com.

Searching by telephone number gives correct results

When searching bt the address the new house number/postcode It comes up with an error (although it displays the correct uprn)

When searching by UPRN it doesn't seem to correlate

When looking for what I can get elsware (isp wise) only the old address shows up

Is there anyone that can be poked to have a look at this do you think (openreach)?

Is it wrong on the royal mail address finder as well? If it is they have an online form for address changes which often updates the BT data after a few weeks.

If you mean www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode it only shows the correct house number.

The reason I think its a database error is the house on all 4 sides of us show they can get FTTP apart from us even though the manifold is outside our house

Incas anyone is interested the problem was caused by SSE not updating the Openreach database (confirmed by openreach). And ORDI process was needed to synchronise the two

I'm sure he meant what he said.
It's still a manifold at the end of the day.

I think I recall that before the CBT system was rolled out the FTTP pole mounted hardware were known as fibre manifolds so I think the description is perfectly valid.

I sent a message to Openreach shortly after posting here. It took a considerable time to get a response from them as we were mid 1st lockdown and got an answer end of September.

So following that since October its taken two phone calls, one general email and one email to the executive office at SSE to get it resolved.

All sorted now but though it might help anyone else in the same situation
