Yes think thats what I'll do for now and keep my fingers crossed - At least if it doesn't sort itself out AA are pretty good at beating up OR.
My latency sits at a rock solid 5.8-6.2 ms to the AA PPPoE endpoint, and 7ms to google DNS so seems its not having that big an effect on things!
As mentioned by a couple other posters the main difference is that the new line is still on a 6dB target.
AAISP while a good ISP, cannot do the impossible.
The DLM is completely automated. AAISP have no way to move the line to a 3dB target.
If the DLM doesn't move the line to 3dB and the current sync is above the minimum guarantee then there's nothing AAISP can do.
