My understanding was the party the instigated the USO with BT was bound to use BT (either business or resi) for the term of their contract and then free to move to another SP (similar to what happens with oD). Neighbours that have access to the CBT(s) installed as part of the USO would however be free to order a service from whomever SP they wish....

As far as I can see it is BT Retail that hold the USO and therefore presumably you have to buy a BT Retail service.

Hi everyone,

Just thought I should give a little update. Once again the install date apparently didn't go through into Openreach's system and have therefore been given an even later install date on the 23rd (albeit only 4 days later, however now 1 month from the original slot). I'm supposed to be getting a call back to tomorrow to 100% confirm that it has gone through as even the person at BT though the situation is getting ridiculous, but I guess we'll have to see.
