I’d wager that the fatter of the two cables, dog legging round the trunk is a copper aerial cable, a ten or maybe a twenty pair.
The thinner cable to the left of the trunk *might* be fibre, or maybe a dropwire.
I’ll agree that miles of overhead will doubtless cause issues … but there is a big ol’ race going on to get fibre rolled out ASAP by the various players ….. cost and speed are king.
I checked the addresses fed by this and they do have FTTP, and the poles have standard overhead fibre label.
A few hundred yards south of Sizewell.
