We've had people on this forum reporting that as loyal BT customers they're paying over £50(*) per month for Fibre 1, whilst it's sold to new customers for £28 per month.

People need to be prepared to switch providers. Hop out of the pan rather than be slowly boiled.

(*) That was with a voice calls package. BT had also automatically applied a Halo add-on that they didn't want in the first place.

Still nothing yet, I think it might actually be a lot longer than I thought to become activated. I'm seeing roadworks scheduled between 6 Sep - 8 Dec I'm assuming these would need to be completed before I would have fibre?

Though looking at roadworks scotland the openeach road works for those days say CLEAR BLOCKAGE and estimate 3 working days. Not sure if related or not

No, I'm thinking the same. It's just frustrating to see it on the pole metres from me, almost teasing me. None of the nearby postcodes have FTTP other than the new build houses.

Who knows, I'll expect the worst and maybe be surprised if I get it quicker.
