The install was an internal one, he did *splice* the 'Green SC-APC ' ONT connector on, I did challenge him about the External CSP used inside, that's all he had got.
Very strange indeed.
The CSP should only be needed to house the splice, where the inside and outside fibres are spliced together.
The internal fibre cables have the green SC-APC connector pre terminated.
If the engineer has had to attach the SC-APC connector then he's presumably used a single length of connectorised cable, cut to length at the property end, with the SC-APC connected then attached.
It makes me wonder what on Earth the CSP was even fitted for.
Could you take a peek (and a picture) inside the CSP when you get a chance.
He may have fitted it just because you were asking for 1.
Or even worse he has actually spliced 2 fibres but hasn't used the pre terminated 'inside out' fibre.
