I've seen it reported that the service is symmetric on Cityfibre, but can't see it mentioned on their website.

But that also says multiple line profiles and as the ISP in this case talktalk are saying 75mbit upload would be nice if there was a confirmed user of fibre 500 on cityfibre to confirm this,

Many thanks

"Profiles" as in speed tiers if you will, other than nominal 1000/1000. For example 200/200, 500/500.

For reference see the profiles available under CityFibre by Air Broadband

Air Broadband are also available under other open/wholesale network providers, for example; Gigaclear (all symmetric tiers) and OFNL (all asymmetric tiers) amongst other wholesale net provider for FTTP. The speed tiers and retail pricing they offer for each such network are shown on their website.

It's abundantly clear that CityFibre profiles/tiers are all symmetric.

Thank you, would be nice to confirm from someone who actually has the talktalk 500 on cityfibre, although it still doesn't alter the fact they are launching a gigabit network with a launch partner that doesn't have gigabit offering on cityfibre, I had hoped for Zen or vodafone tbh.

Ah, but is he a "light user" at 3GB per month, or a "heavy user" at 65GB per month? (!!)

There will doubtless be other providers going in other than TT. So you may wish to wait a little while and see or start making further enquiries with the other known providers on-net with CF.

I don't believe there is any sort of exclusivity arrangement between CF and TT.

There was once upon a time with Vodafone, but only in the original 12 cities and towns in the initial CF rollout. See previous thread on the subject.
