You may be able to get it changed by using the form for "Unable to find my address" on the OR site.

First check to see what it is called on the pulldown list for your postcode.

Then use the can't find your address button or the link above to access the form. Use the address you want it to be called (matching exactly the Royal mail name) and in the text quote the old name and explain the mismatch with the Royal Mail data. Ask politely for it to be changed to match and you may be surprised.

It would be BT Business that you would need to contact for this as they are who you currently have your contract with

Because ISPs seemingly cannot fathom how to fix it, and Openreach doesn't seem to do anything to cleanse their data nor respond to customers.


(I may be wrong but) If your ISP has the correct address all they need to do is run and ORDI process to synchronise their address with the Openreach database


This is what IDnet said. But it also meant that they needed to reprovision the line and that incurred a new line fee. Which is ridiculous.

Well, no. Because Openreach are the ones that have the database, not the ISPs. Where has BT Business come from?
