Yeah the way it was written, suggested (to me) it might have been a visible above ground 'box'. Guilty of reading too much into it your honour 😅

I had a very good response from his team even took time to talk on the phone about my area.

I've not done so to date - I've queried with Openreach via the form and raised a follow up complaint to having waited over a month for a reply to the initial response... perhaps that is the next best step but tbh if the answer if per this thread i.e. it was never in the original plan ... is anything going to change ?

No, basically. This isn't a case of you being missed off a planned deployment or a database error. A new building was constructed, the people managing that project were likely not given a choice between fibre and copper and so fibre was built. It was never planned to upgrade you at the same time, so you've not been upgraded.
