No asbestos is in the house, that was checked a few years ago.
I presume part 7 covers that. I doubt I am the only person that asked for permission to have Zzoomm. My neighbours did not officially ask permission, I saw their daughter as I was going to the post office. i thought they did, but all they did was phone them to ask about Fibre broadband. they must have got someone one who gave them the wrong info. I said to send them a email anyway and get permission, while they have now got the fibre in, no one is going to know when it was put in.
The last person who came here, is the bloke who serviced the boiler last year, that is the only person that visits from the HA from one year to the next unless we get someone in to do some repairs. As said before they are not that bothered as long as the property is not damaged, I had a smart thermostat installed. All the smart stuff I have around the house I have done so without changing anything, like Philips hue remote dimmer switches. Switchbots to turn my kitchen light and back outside lights on and off just attaches to the switch, saying that the one in the kitchen is attached by super glue
At the end of the day the HA don't hold up it side of the contract, half the time, took six months before they came to fix a handle on my living room window, I tied it up with string to stop it from opening, then I had the idea to take the one off the kitchen window and put it on the living room window. Mu small windows in the kitchen is always open anyway so they just replaced the one on that. The extractor fan in the kitchen have been broken for a couple of years, make a screeching sound when turned on, I never used it that much anyway, as I said I always have the small window open in the kitchen.
The only time they moved their backside was when my next door neighbour whose house is privately owned complained about the gutter leaking after my roof was replaced. Her fault it leaks anyway, they were the ones who put a different shape of gutter up to the other houses, her hubby that was put a load of gaffer tape inside when it was installed to stop it leaking. Anyway, the HA moved very quickly to sort that out as she said it was those that were doing my rook that broke it. Took 4 attempts, seems ok now, but the back one is leaking, and she has done nothing about that.
So maybe if the HA cared a bit more I would worry,
Adrian
