I believe the signing and returning a hard copy by post is the conditions set out by Adrian's landlord (Connexus) with regards to the works. I don't think Adrian has stated if he also needs to do that with Zzoomm agreement. Hopefully Adrian will clarify.

Yes,

But i am not going to be zzoomming today., one of the installers decided that they needed to send photos to my landloard to show where they are drilling, which is stupid as there are already holes there. The other bloke was willing to do it there and then. Just my luck and people wondered why I could not be bothered with the hassle.
I may just not bother and cancel it and go to onestream, it is cheaper, slower, but cheaper.

I said I am out of contract soon and don't really want to pay plusnet for another month, the installers said they should be back soon, just a formality.
Fed up of things not working out.

So 800+ posts of will I, won’t I and should I, or not, and you are still dithering, dallying and just about to cancel whilst on the vinegar strokes. Why am I not surprised ?

I’ll wager that you hung round the installers, twittering on about , way leaves, ‘would this, would that ? Could it be this way, oh what about that way ? You spooked them wittering on about you having to make good later, etc, etc.

Every installers nightmare {walks off shaking his head}

If I looked hard enough I could find the post where Adrian said he would 'never ever' hang around a workman when they come to do work at his house wink

Just to make it proper I decided to get permission from my landlord, and they have given me permission
I can confirm that Connexus has no objection to Zoom installing Fibre Optic Broadband at the
property, subject to your agreement being bound by the following conditions: -
by post. smile

I thought Connexus is an interesting name for a ALMO / LHA - very mmm communications like. Then I read the headline this morning over at ISPR about a business ISP called Connectus…

It is a good job you are where you are and I am where I am, as you can't prove what went on, because you would have lost that wager.,

They came to the door, asked for the letter, one bloke read it, rang the head office and that was the end of it. They have taken photos that they will send to the housing association, they have taken a photo of a wall with a hole already in it which they will use to bring the cable in after making it a little larger. This is what don't make sense, the hole is flipping already there.

Do you think I would go through the hassle and then do something to stop them doing it? They told me where it was going to go. they asked where I wanted the ONT, but they can't put it where I want it, so I will just have to run another Ethernet cable, from the ONT to where I want the router, I was going to use my own router anyway.

It have been a naff day, went to get skirting board and this stupid city don't even have the size I want., went to have a Key cut and the machine decided not to work. then tripped over walking down the ash path home. so all in all a good day. ,get drunk, I think.

Don't worry Adrian its just a small speed bump relatively.

I could tell you chapter and verse about some of the "fun" I had getting FFTPoD installed in 2018/19 - that was like 9 months of protracted torture. That you pay them for 😎

Smile and have a glass of something tonight.
