Oh yeah, cheers.

I was disappointed that they did not splice the connection, I wanted to watch them doing that. Plug and play, or as I said to them, plug and pray. They did laugh about that.

Just to say, Zzoomm is installed and working. she had a bit of a problem drilling though the wall, tough old house. she even filled in the holes that were already there.

I took their router off as soon as they left and put mine on, but i had a problem with it keeping connection, it was as if they were knocking it off, it uses Dynamic IP, well that what I had to use to even connect. what i did is used the mac clone function of my router and put in their router mac address and so far no more problem. Was that the problem? i don't know, but it has stayed connected since.

Made a difference when redoing Windows on the PC, but not made any difference with streaming to be honest. But as I said before it was not the speed, but the price.

anyway, done, dusted, working, now need to sort out cables when it gets a bit cooler./

LUCKY BOY!!!!! FTTP at last!!!! while I sat here miserable grumpy with no FTTP in plan! Think I should BLOODY move to other area with Full Fibre

I can understand you not being happy about getting FTTP, but i thought you had Virgin where you are? I am sure you was using Virgin. you seem to change your provider a lot.

Before the curtain comes down on this thread, maybe you can clarify:
1) Your new rental costs
2) What happened the the landline number associated with the FTTC connection. I presume you cancelled that service, but was their a termination charge?
