A while back on this forum there was a link to a map that showed where FTTP nodes were in your area (similar to being able to see cabs), does anyone remember this and know what the post/link is
thanks

As far as I am aware the location of FTTP fibre nodes has never been revealed on any map or other media that is available to the general public..... unless someone knows otherwise

What like FTTP aggregation or splitter nodes? Not to my knowledge. Ever.
Ditto for a list of Headend / Handover FTTP exchanges. Certainly not a compiled freely/publicly available as a list, though obv. many are known through other means and providers have this info though their own ordering etc portals.

Curious: why would anyone pay to know where Openreach aggregation nodes are?
Their location isn't a massive secret but they are not and have never been public knowledge.

Their location isn't a massive secret but they are not and have never been public knowledge. Just a turn of phrase to mean some people would be interested to know how far away their aggregation node is (it wasn't meant to be literal), that curiosity may not extend to you but lots of people have been interested to know including the OP.

I only wanted to know, so i could work out which direction they will build the fibre spine to, as we have two directions. Slightly more so now, given they have said a group of 10 houses are non viable despite having cbts fitted.

Slightly more so now, given they have said a group of 10 houses are non viable despite having cbts fitted. I think others who have been interested have been for similar reasons and especially when more were looking at going down the FTTPod or CFP route. I now know where mine is since having it installed but I was curious beforehand as I was looking at several options.

We are in a little hamlet, circa 100 houses, and that is about 1.5km from our local cabinet. So I don't know if its gonna be, mini olt or fibre to the agg node, and which agg node if thats an option.
I only care about that info for roadworks, otherwise i don't care two bits about it ..
But i do understand the security reasons why its not disclosed
