.......................... OR put theirsat a more sensible 350 or 600 minimum.

OP quotes neighbour, not Highway or Footway, 250mm

And Virgin have their ducts 50-100 mm before finished surface.
Doesn't that depend on which of the original cable Co's did the build? e.g. I know NYNEX in Sussex, and NTL in Surrey were quite different in the construction. (back in the 1991 to 1993 days).

I always thought OP meant 'Original Poster' so that would have been MHC in this case as he started the thread.

How has this thread gone from a question about Morrisons coming to provide a fibre service via poles to how deep a duct is from various providers?

Didn't he post below then?
In reply to a post by MHC:
there is a carrier pole with 50 m spans between poles and to house but everything else should be simple.

Yes, he did post that later, and again later posted OR spec for duct depths which apply to, (using OR terminology), footway, walkway and carriageway, and obviously do not relate to poles.

Yes, poles spoken about in 2nd of the OP posts so later than his first post but before the duct nonsense was introduced by other contributor.

So, two weeks later and still nothing! They have been back, I understand, twice more and "don't have the right equipment". Neighbours are getting £6/day compensation which is better than nothing but they would probably prefer the install!
