Re: FTTP repair process

[re: amiga_dude] [link to this post]

I raised a fault this morning, having lost the internet at 1am (son tells me!). OTR was green and router no internet.
ISP checked the line with City Fibre and when I called back as asked after an hour, am told there is a fault showing their end, but just need to access PPPoE to confirm the router isn't at fault (aka chargeable). It wasn't. Am told it could be fixed tomorrow, or Tuesday.
Panic sinks in as a home worker on zero hour contract.
Come back form a trip to the shop to be told the Internet is up and it is!
Have just emailed my ISP to thank them - the fix was done in 3 hrs, just waiting confirmation the fault is officially fixed.
